Brenda Johima is a Vancouver Island - Comox Valley mixed media and visual artist, who has a passion for phoDOGraphy, photography and for paint, and for a lot of paint! Brenda works primarily with ink, acrylic and mixed media, on large canvas, most often using many, many, heavily textured layers of paint.

Brenda’s goal as a painter is to always focus on creativity, and on the creative process, which is ever-changing and which cannot be forced. This then, is why Brenda’s works are also constantly changing style, and refuse to settle into any one specific commercial “style.”

Where: We are based in the beautiful Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island, near Denman Island, in British Columbia, Canada. We are only a 35 minute flight to Vancouver, from the Comox Valley Airport YQQ and are available for international travel.
